In Quan Ba, discover the legend of the Twin Mountains and enjoy panoramic views from Heaven’s Gate. Continue to Lung Tam Linen Cooperative, a Flower H’mong village where local artisans demonstrate traditional embroidery and textile-making techniques.

After passing Yen Minh, visit the H’mong King’s Palace. Built during the French colonial period, this historic residence combines European and Chinese architectural influences and offers an insight into the history of the H’mong royal family.

Day 2: DONG VAN – MA PI LENG PASS – NHO QUE RIVER – BAO LAC (B/L/D)

Today brings some of the most spectacular scenery of the Ha Giang Cao Bang Tour as you travel across Ma Pi Leng Pass, one of the most dramatic mountain passes in northern Vietnam.

Stop at the Skypath and enjoy an 8–10 km hike with your guide. The trail passes through Flower H’mong hamlets and offers magnificent views of the rugged limestone mountains.

Continue toward the Ma Pi Leng viewpoint and the historic Happiness Road, where a stone stele commemorates the workers who helped build this legendary mountain route.

Below the pass, the turquoise Nho Que River winds through a deep canyon surrounded by towering cliffs. Depending on weather and operating conditions, you may have the opportunity to enjoy a boat trip along the river.
